Matching Frogs

So I got Desmond some frog counters to play with for some pre-Math activities. He loves them. I also got a couple of activities that went with them. So a couple of mornings a week I pull them out for him and he plays with them. He really likes the pattern matching activities and here he is working with them to make up the pattern he sees on the card. He is good at copying the pattern so I am thinking about starting the cards that leave a blank in them so he has to figure out which frog goes next.

    Neat frog counters! Where did you find them? Desmond looks like he’s having a blast! I bet he’ll be a math wiz someday very soon.

    I got them at an educational supply store, but they are no longer being produced which is to bad I love them. There are bears though. Desmond has these bears ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006PKZBI/ref=sc_vs__counting_2520bears ) which he really likes and you can also get them in 3 sizes if needed. We have three sizes of frogs for various math tasks.
