Fruit Picking
So Desmond had been asking to go pick fruit all week long, so I told him we would go this past weekend with Daddy. Yes it was predicted to be ridiculously hot, but I was hoping if we went early enough it won’t be horrible. Plus I felt kind of bad because we cancelled our plans for Sesame Place because of the heat. So Sunday morning, which was much cooler then Saturday morning (88ish, so it only felt like 100) we headed up to the farm where we pick our own fruit. Desmond and Eloise were a bit disappointed that strawberry season was over, and that apple and pumpkin seasons have not started, but they enjoyed picking blueberries and peaches. Here are some pictures from our adventure, Eloise was actually almost helpful this year and Desmond was actually fairly dedicated to actually picking and not just eating.

Is that your new carrier? It’s a very nice looking one.
Also, may I ask where you buy your amber necklaces? I love the one on Eloise. The beads are so flat!

Nope, that is an older carrier, we got right before Eloise turned 1. Still waiting on my new carrier, I’m sure I’ll post pictures when it comes.
I got the amber necklaces at Inspired by Finn http://hyenacart.com/inspiredbyfinn/ , I actually need to go order Sully a new one, because he needs a flat bead one rather then the one we got him originally, his skin is too sensitive to have raised beads.

Des’s haircut looks like it’s keeping the knots to a minimum! Maybe we should get him a trim when you come to visit.
