Thanksgiving at Preschool

So the week before Thanksgiving both Eloise and Desmond had Thanksgiving celebrations at preschool. Their classes made food, learned about Thanksgiving and did other small activities to get ready. Desmond’s celebration was on a Wednesday and Eloise’s was on a Thursday. Families were invited, but siblings were not. For Desmond’s I dropped Eloise and Sully off at the free babysitting, and I went along with my in-laws. It was cute and everyone had a good time, there were a lot of parents and relatives there.

For Eloise’s I dropped Sully off at the free babysitting, and then went. There were far fewer people, which made sense with a class of 12 vs 20. The 2s class was adorable though, and they had fun as well. The best part of the day however, was that Eloise got to have lunch in Desmond’s classroom. She loved it. She was the only child in the 2s class that stayed for lunch, and none of the children in the 3s class stayed that day either (they had their Thanksgiving Feast at the same time). Since I had to be back in an hour to pick up Desmond anyways, and Sully needed a nap, I left Eloise for lunch so they had to find somewhere to put her, her teacher had a funeral to attend. She loved going into the 4 year old class and being with Desmond and all the big kids. All the 4s (at least the girls) loved having her there as well. She keeps on asking to go back, I had to tell her that is was a one time thing. Here are a few pictures I took from both days.
