We had our ultrasound today, and the baby is looking good! It is also a little girl! Now to think about names, eek!

I knew it! Mom said it was going to be another boy but I said nope its going to be a girl. Congrats! I’m so happy for you.

Woo hoo! Girls are wonderful, and they perfectly complement boys – go figure! I know you have names in mind … care to share? You should check out the Baby Name Wizard to see what girl names are in the same name family as Desmond.

I have the Baby Name Wizard Book and visit the website often, unfortunately the names that are in the same family as Desmond aren’t really speaking to either me or Dan at the moment. We did go through 20,000 baby names tonight and come up with around 26 we like though, so we’ll have to wait and see.

You should think of some names with B and E and probably G, just in case. Des’ baby sister has a new doll, dress, and headband from her Nonnie.

We have an E name I think, a B name might be a bit tougher, but we should be able to find one, and we can use Gwendolyn or come up with another G name fairly easily. Backup names we are good with I think, just a name we love hasn’t popped yet.
