Life with a Toddler (or what’s in the oven?)
So Desmond loves to open the oven, we have a lock on the lower one, but the upper one’s lock didn’t end up sticking and he broke it. He loves to open the oven and put stuff in it, so we have to be careful to check it before we cook anything.
This evening there were 2 shoes with socks, a plate, a bowl, a plastic dulpo dinosaur egg and a pot holder in the oven. It is interesting to try to figure out how a toddler’s mind works sometimes. Though sometimes it is easier to just shake your head and laugh.

Actually, the lock on the lower oven appears to have pulled off now too. These so-called “appliance locks” suck.
And there were a pair of socks in the oven, too. And later the egg, shoes, and another bowl again.
