So when leaving the playground today we saw a caterpillar. Honestly it was kind of gross looking especially its face. The two bigger small ones though liked it. I had to tell them they could look but not touch, since I remembered caterpillars’ fuzz can be a minor contact poison/irritant. They both liked looking at it and watching it move, so it was a nice for them to see a real very hungry caterpillar that will turn into a beautiful butterfly when it is a big fat caterpillar and builds a cocoon.
