So Eloise had her two month appointment today, I was betting that she won’t be 11 pounds yet, which is what Desmond was at 4 weeks and I was right. She is 10 pounds 4 ounces which is a pound and 12 ounces up from her last appointment 5 week ago (so she is gaining about 5 3/5 ounces a week) and 22 and 1/2 inches so up 1 and 3/4 inches. She is right around the 50%tile for both height and weight and 65%tile for head circumference.

At birth 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 3/4th inches
At 1 month 8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 3/4 inches
At 2 months 10 pounds 4 ounces and 22 1/2 inches

Just for comparison here are Desmond’s stats at 1 and 2 months, she is smaller then he was at 1 month.

At one months Desmond was 11 pounds and 23 inches
At two months Desmond was 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches

Since Andrea wants more pictures. I’m putting up the next set from Atlanta. These were taken at the playground at the lake house. There are some of Desmond, some of Eloise, some of Desmond and Eloise, and some of Desmond with my Mom, Eloise with my Mom, and Eloise with me.

While Laura and Miles were up, we went out on the boat. It was Eloise’s first boat ride. Desmond has been before and enjoys it, he got to steer the boat with both his uncle Miles and his Grandpa, which he really enjoyed. Miles also went out wakeboarding, you can see him wakeboarding in the background of one of the pictures. It was a nice day for a boat ride since it was mid 80s out so the breeze on the water from the boat was quite nice.

So the Atlanta pictures are not being put up in any particular order. While we were at the lake house, Eloise spit up all over herself. It was kind of impressive how much liquid came out of the tiny little baby actually. So we decided she needed a bath. So I gave her one in my Mom’s sink, the sink is huge, Desmond can fit in it with room to spare, so she looked really tiny in it.

On the way to the airport to head home, we also stopped to visit Great Grandpa with my Dad. Here are a couple of pictures I took then as well.

We went to Atlanta right after Desmond’s birthday party/meet the Eloise Open House. We flew down with my Mom and once we landed we went to visit my Grandfather. I got a some pictures of Desmond and Eloise while we were there so here they are.

So the reason Eloise seems so tiny, is because she is. We just had her 1 month appointment today. She is doing well developmentally, we think she may have reflux though, we’re going to keep an eye on it and if it is still not better when we get back from Atlanta we’re going to put her on Zantac to see if it helps her. She is tiny at 8 pounds 8 ounces, which means she’s been gaining about 7 ounces a week, which is good, but since Desmond was 11 pounds at this point in time she seems really small. She is in the 25%tile for weight and 50%tile for height, 25%tile for head circumference as well, so overall she is doing well, she is just small.

After Easter at my Aunt’s we stopped at my in law’s on the way home and had dinner with them. I realized I have no real pictures of them with Eloise, they see her at least once a week, but I keep ending up not taking pictures. So I took a few while we were there. So here she is with them.
