This morning while Dan was changing her diaper Eloise rolled over from back to front! It was nice to know she can roll over, since it was one of the few milestones she hadn’t hit on the doctor’s chart on Wednesday, and since Desmond rolled over from about 10 days on.

Oh and I have a bunch of pictures of both her and Desmond to put up from this weekend. I’ll try to get some up at nap time tomorrow.

For mother’s day we went to the lake across the street, I wanted to get some pictures of Desmond and Eloise, preferably together. I failed in the together part, but I got a bunch of pictures of each of them individually. Desmond’s are mainly him eating and peeing oranges, he quite enjoyed that. Eloise’s are mainly her just looking cute, she is good at that. There are a bunch of pictures so I’ll post then in a couple of separate posts. Here are some that are not really categorized to start with.

On May 2nd we drove down to Richmond for a ceremony for my Grandfather, everyone got to see the bench my Grandmother had chosen and they put his ashes in his spot in the bench. Unfortunately it decided to rain right as we started, and with Desmond there too, we didn’t get to hear or see much of the ceremony. It was nice though. After that we went back to Mommom’s house and everyone spent some time together. The next morning before we left to drive home, we stopped by Mommom’s again and got some pictures of Eloise and Desmond with Mommom, so here they are.

So Eloise had her two month appointment today, I was betting that she won’t be 11 pounds yet, which is what Desmond was at 4 weeks and I was right. She is 10 pounds 4 ounces which is a pound and 12 ounces up from her last appointment 5 week ago (so she is gaining about 5 3/5 ounces a week) and 22 and 1/2 inches so up 1 and 3/4 inches. She is right around the 50%tile for both height and weight and 65%tile for head circumference.

At birth 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 3/4th inches
At 1 month 8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 3/4 inches
At 2 months 10 pounds 4 ounces and 22 1/2 inches

Just for comparison here are Desmond’s stats at 1 and 2 months, she is smaller then he was at 1 month.

At one months Desmond was 11 pounds and 23 inches
At two months Desmond was 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches

While we were in Atlanta we met up with someone from my April 2007 Puddle Jumper message board. We went to the Jump Zone, which is a big inflatables place, where the children could play and run around. Desmond loved it, he had a ton of fun climbing and jumping and sliding down. I need to take him to the one by us, though I have to do it when I have someone to watch Eloise, because I did have to follow him around and that isn’t possible with her strapped on me.
