Eloise has been able to pull up for a few weeks now. I caught some pictures of her pulling up on the chair rather then a lower cushion though, on September 8th, and it was neat, I knew she could pull up to stand at the time, but I didn’t realize she could do it using a chair, rather then something lower and more stable.
Desmond was having his diaper changed and Eloise saw him lying there so she crawled over to play with her brother. She loves her big brother!
So around September 8th we were down in the basement and Desmond picked up two paint stirrers. He then started using them like drum sticks. Here are a bunch of pictures of him playing the drums.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the playground on Labor Day. I know it is such a descriptive post, isn’t it? Anyways here is Desmond having fun at the playground.
These are two of my favorite pictures of the ones I have taken recently of Desmond and Eloise.
First we have Desmond coming out of a tunnel at the playground.
Next we have Eloise trying to figure out if she can escape the family room.
When we went to RenFest we got Eloise a doll, Desmond really liked it so we got him one too. The lady selling them mentioned they called them Scottish Action Figures for the boys. The name just amused Dan and me, so we have been calling Eloise’s Scottish Action Figure or Scottish Action Man. So here she is playing with her Scottish Action Figure.
Two weeks or so, Dan got home from work and moved his laptop to the floor so he could play with the laptop and Eloise at the same time. Eloise had other ideas and decided to play with the laptop instead!
Here are a couple of pictures of Eloise from Labor Day at my in-laws. She is playing on the rocking horse that use to be Dan’s.
One of the things that we have done with our bean box is played with Desmond’s cars in it. He has enjoyed this, he likes running the cars through the beans. It keeps him entertained for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, which is always a good thing.
A week or two ago I looked up and saw the following. It is amusing to see what Desmond does to amuse himself sometimes.
