One Month Stats

April 15th, 2009

So the reason Eloise seems so tiny, is because she is. We just had her 1 month appointment today. She is doing well developmentally, we think she may have reflux though, we’re going to keep an eye on it and if it is still not better when we get back from Atlanta we’re going to put her on Zantac to see if it helps her. She is tiny at 8 pounds 8 ounces, which means she’s been gaining about 7 ounces a week, which is good, but since Desmond was 11 pounds at this point in time she seems really small. She is in the 25%tile for weight and 50%tile for height, 25%tile for head circumference as well, so overall she is doing well, she is just small.

At birth 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 3/4th inches
At 1 month 8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 3/4 inches

Two Year Stats

April 15th, 2009

We had Desmond’s 2 year appointment today, and Eloise’s 1 month appointment as well. Desmond is doing great, he is in the 50%tile for height and weight. He is doing wonderfully developmentally and had no problems. He was even good about getting his finger pricked for a hemoglobin test and when he got his DTaP. All in all he is doing great.

Anyways here are his stats from birth to now.
At birth he was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 3/4 inches
At one months he was 11 pounds and 23 inches
At two months he was 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches
At four months he was 17 pounds 13 ounces and 26 1/2 inches
At 6 months he was 19 pounds 13 ounces and 27 inches
At 9 months he was 22 pounds 3 ounces and 29 inches
At 1 year (12 months) he was 23 pounds 8 ounces and 30 inches
At 15 months was 23 pounds 10 ounces and 31 inches
At 18 months he was 26 pounds and 33 inches
At 2 years he is 27 pounds 8 ounces and 35 inches

Eloise with Dada and Dadi

April 14th, 2009

After Easter at my Aunt’s we stopped at my in law’s on the way home and had dinner with them. I realized I have no real pictures of them with Eloise, they see her at least once a week, but I keep ending up not taking pictures. So I took a few while we were there. So here she is with them.

Easter Pictures and such

April 14th, 2009

For Easter we went down to my Aunt Mary’s house. We planned to get there before we did, but we haven’t quite learned how long it takes to go places with the two of them, especially for the whole day.

We had fun while there, Eloise met some of her Aunts and Uncles and her MomMom the Great! Desmond got to run around and hunt for eggs with the rest of the smaller kids that were there. A good time was had by all, and pictures were taken. So here they are.

One Month Old!

April 14th, 2009

Today is Eloise’s one month birthday. It is weird to think that one month ago at this time I was in labor with her. She has fallen into our routine fairly well so far, though her brother is having a bit of trouble with the invader still.

Happy One Month Eloise!

She has started smiling

April 10th, 2009

No pictures yet, but she has been smiling for about the past 3 or 4 days. She has also hit awake for part of the day stage , so she actually looks around and plays a bit now rather then just eating and sleeping.

I don’t understand the toddler’s thought process!

April 9th, 2009

but that’s okay since he is entertaining himself by running around and throwing string cheese that is still wrapped, and chasing the dog.

A Kiss!

April 8th, 2009

Desmond has actually been fairly good with Eloise and he likes to hug her and give her kisses. I finally caught him on camera giving her a kiss this evening.

More tummy time

April 8th, 2009

So Desmond is at his Grandparent’s house today, so it is just me and Eloise and K-line at home. I let Eloise have some tummy time and took a few picture of her while she was there. So here they are.

It’s my cupcake, I can just eat the frosting if I want to, and I do!

April 8th, 2009

So after going to the zoo we went to my in-laws for dinner to celebrate Desmond’s birthday. He had a good time and opened his present from them, played with the noise maker things and ate the frosting off two cupcakes, all and all he enjoyed himself.

Everyone opens their presents with their teeth right?

Cupcake Time!

This is how everyone eats their frosting right?

In party hats!

Oh this is fun!
