I realize it has been a bit since I last updated, so I took some pictures of Desmond today at Gymboree, and got around to downloading some other pictures off the camera cards. Here are a couple of pictures from this morning of Desmond at Gymboree.
Not this past Sunday, but the week before that, Sunday the 20th, we went out blueberry picking with my in-laws. Everyone had fun though it was really hot. Here are a couple of pictures of Desmond and my in-laws picking blueberries.
These two pictures are a bit old, they are from the trip down to North Carolina. Desmond was getting cranky and hungry so I gave him some trail mix that included chocolate covered peanuts. He quite enjoyed it.
My mother in law dyed her hair last weekend sometime, and apparently it didn’t work out quite right, she wanted really light blond, instead she ended up with pink hair! So here is my mother in law and her lovely pink hair.

We went to my in-law’s house on Saturday. They have a small blow up pool for Desmond, he had played in it last week too, but we hadn’t known about it so he had no bathing suit then. We brought his bathing suit this time, he had lots of fun, he went in it twice about 2 hours apart. He likes playing in the water.

Most everyone knows this announcement by now, but we bought Desmond a shirt to tell everyone. So here is his big announcement. You’ll have to click to see the whole announcement.
So for Dan’s birthday we went to the supermarket and picked up half a cake. It was very chocolaty and Desmond loves chocolate. Here are some pictures of him with the chocolate cake being eaten!
Desmond had his 15 month appointment today. He gained 2 ounces in the past 3 months, which isn’t surprising since he is so active. He did grow an inch. He is 50% for height and 45% for weight now. His head is still between 75 and 90%. We finished the last question on the current sheet for evaluating his development so we will get the 2 year sheet at his 18 month appointment. All and all the appointment went fine, no problems and we got the name of a pediatric dentist for him.
Now for the stats from birth to 15 months:
At birth he was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 3/4 inches
At one months he was 11 pounds and 23 inches
At two months he was 14 pounds and 24 1/2 inches
At four months he was 17 pounds 13 ounces and 26 1/2 inches
At 6 months he was 19 pounds 13 ounces and 27 inches
At 9 months he was 22 pounds 3 ounces and 29 inches
At 1 year (12 months) he was 23 pounds 8 ounces and 30 inches
At 15 months he is 23 pounds 10 ounces and 31 inches
Today is Dan’s Birthday he turns 31. So Happy Birthday Dan, hope you enjoy your birthday dinner tonight, that you’ll make, of Salmon, Sweet Potatoes and Corn!
