Here are some of him in the deeper water. He wasn’t as sure about it. Also I don’t think he liked the restrictiveness of his life jacket, which we put on him when we went out deeper.

While we were on vacation in New Bern we went to the Beach one day with my Dad. My Mom had to work, here are a bunch of beach pictures from it. Desmond really enjoyed it, he liked playing in the water and holding onto a shell and a orange shovel. The first set of pictures are from when we first got there and his first experience with the water.

So for Father’s Day we went Strawberry picking. Which is amusing when you realize Dan doesn’t even like Strawberries. Desmond does however. We have recently been letting Desmond chose his own clothes out of a choice of 2 or 3 shirts. So Dan let Desmond chose his own shirt for the expedition, unfortunately he forgot to let him chose from non-white shirts. So we have another very strawberry shirt in the end. Here are a bunch of pictures I took of Desmond as Dan picked Strawberries.

On Sunday we went Strawberry Picking for Father’s day. When we got home my in-laws came over and we spent time with them. We all took Desmond out ot the playground to run around some, so here are some more pictures of him playing there.

So this morning Desmond was running around like a boundless ball of energy. Up the stairs, down the stairs, through the living room into the kitchen, rinse and repeat. So I decided we would go to the playground and burn off some of the energy before it got too hot. So around 11 we searched for his shoes and finally found two matching shoes that fit. I then put him in the Beco and walked to the playground, which is all of 5 minutes away or so. It was around 82F (28ish C for those who use Celsius) out so it wasn’t too bad out. When we got to the playground he ran around some and played in the sandbox, the swing and the bouncy car. The slides were a bit hot so he didn’t want to climb up them, and he had no interest in climbing up the play structures stairs either. We played for about 40 minutes and came home, where he had lunch and then was quite ready for his nap. Here are some pictures of him having fun.
