Eloise has been sort of walking for over a month now. She still finding crawling easier though. Well until last week. Now I would say that she is walking about 75% to 80% of the time. I got a couple of short videos of her walking at the playground this evening. So here she is happily walking to the slide to play.

So we went to the playground this evening. Both Eloise and Desmond had a lot of fun. They both really enjoyed hanging on a monkey bar type structure there. I was really impressed at how long Eloise was able to hang on by herself. Here is a video of each of them playing and hanging on.

Today you are 3! You have gone from a tiny little baby to a little boy. Happy birthday Desmond!

So last year I posted a few of Desmond from 2008 and 2009 right around the same date. I figured I would do it again this year. So here they are. The changes in Desmond from almost 1 to almost 3!

First we have Desmond on March 23rd 2008 at almost 1:

So we got Desmond’s 3 year old photos done today. Eloise got a few pictures done too since I wanted a few of the two of them together, which didn’t work out that well. Our Sunday session had a couple cute ones of them together, but all the pictures of Desmond sucked, so I just ordered a set of pictures of the two of them and didn’t get the cd. Today’s pictures went much better even though Desmond was a wild child and running everywhere but the studio to get his pictures done. We did get a bunch of very cute pictures of him though. So here they are!

I’m 32 today, it has been a decent day, Desmond slept in some, he wasn’t too grumpy, Eloise was good. We got Desmond pictures taken and actually got some decent ones. We got dinner from cheesecake factory so now I’m relaxing with my birthday cheesecake, yum!

So we went to the playground on Sunday, well my in-laws took them on Sunday, I took them Monday and Tuesday and on Wednesday after Eloise’s 1 year appointment Dan and I took them to the big playground where they played for about an hour. We didn’t go out Thursday because I was tired after getting up at 5:30am and we didn’t go today because it was raining. They both really like the nicer weather though so we can go out at least a few time a week to play at the playground and run around.

Anyways I took a ton of pictures. Shocking I know. There were a ton of good ones as well. So I am going to split them into a couple of separate posts. Here is a preview of some of the pictures to come.
