I can not get a good picture of Eloise standing without support me. Every time she notices me watching her stand she starts cheering and promptly falls on her butt. So getting a picture is a bit tough. I do have two okay pictures of her standing though. They are not great, and she is right by Dan, but she is standing without support which if you look closely at the pictures you can see.
So we went to Kiddie Kandids today to get Eloise’s 9 month pictures done. We also got a bunch of pictures of Eloise and Desmond together and a family portrait done. We got some nice pictures of Eloise and Desmond together and a bunch of good pictures of Eloise as well. Here they are.
Here is our family portrait, we haven’t done one of these since Eloise was a newborn.
Desmond wanted his pictures taken, so at the end of Eloise’s private session, we got a picture of him as well. Read the rest of this entry »
So we ordered a lot of holiday presents off of Amazon, it is easy, I have prime so 2 day shipping is free and it tends to be cheaper then going to the store a lot of the time. Anyways we ordered a package on Friday. It has a couple of gifts for tomorrow in it.
It didn’t arrive on Monday, which wasn’t unexpected considering the snow, then it didn’t arrive on Tuesday, which was a bit more surprising. When it hadn’t arrived on Wednesday though I went ahead and checked the order online to see where it was. It said it had been delivered on Monday. We did not get a package on Monday. So Dan called up Amazon and talked to one of their people on the phone. He gave them the information, they said okay and immediately resent out our order 1 day shipping so it would arrive by today, with no questions and no fees.
It was a quick and painless call and the package arrived as promised today. I have to say I was extremely impressed with Amazon’s customer service, they were great about getting the package to us, even if their system says we already received the package that never arrived. That is great customer service!
I have a bunch of videos of Desmond and Eloise sledding. First though here is Dan sledding yesterday. He is trying to pack down the snow so sledding will be easier. He doesn’t quite succeed though!
So we have had a huge snow storm here, it started last night and has dumped around 20 inches of snow here and we may get another inch or three before it is done. I think it is great, since I love snow, and it is fun to play in and take the small ones out in for awhile. We picked up a sled last night before the snow started, at the third place we tried, but unfortunately the snow wasn’t packed down enough to actually sled. Desmond still enjoyed playing with it though. Eloise really liked the snow too. She actually tried to eat it when sitting in it. When we took them out we probably had about 14 inches of snow, it was fairly deep and Desmond had some trouble trudging through it because of how deep it was, he loved it anyways though. Here are a bunch of snow pictures.
