Hand and Knee Crawling
September 25th, 2009Eloise is now officially hand and knee crawling rather then leap frog crawling. The leap frog crawl was so cute, I’m going to miss it! She is really fast on her hands and knees though!
Chocolate Milk in a container
September 24th, 2009The other day Desmond found a container in the dining room, I had taken it out so he could pour paints in it to paint, and decided to pour his chocolate milk into it instead and drink from it. I figured it was entertaining him and keeping him quiet and he wasn’t making a big mess, so I let him do it. He liked drinking his milk from the container.
Pulling Up
September 24th, 2009Eloise has been able to pull up for a few weeks now. I caught some pictures of her pulling up on the chair rather then a lower cushion though, on September 8th, and it was neat, I knew she could pull up to stand at the time, but I didn’t realize she could do it using a chair, rather then something lower and more stable.
Get Desmond
September 24th, 2009Desmond was having his diaper changed and Eloise saw him lying there so she crawled over to play with her brother. She loves her big brother!
Playing the drums in the basement
September 24th, 2009So around September 8th we were down in the basement and Desmond picked up two paint stirrers. He then started using them like drum sticks. Here are a bunch of pictures of him playing the drums.

Scottish Action Figure
September 23rd, 2009When we went to RenFest we got Eloise a doll, Desmond really liked it so we got him one too. The lady selling them mentioned they called them Scottish Action Figures for the boys. The name just amused Dan and me, so we have been calling Eloise’s Scottish Action Figure or Scottish Action Man. So here she is playing with her Scottish Action Figure.
On the computer
September 23rd, 2009Two weeks or so, Dan got home from work and moved his laptop to the floor so he could play with the laptop and Eloise at the same time. Eloise had other ideas and decided to play with the laptop instead!
