Is apparently the couch. He will not leave the cushions on it. He likes to pull off the cushions and use them for ramps and forts and what not, and then he likes to bounce on the sofa without the cushion there, apparently it bounces better without the cushions then with. You can see him in the videos below dancing with the cushion off, or at least not on.
Anyways here are two cute pictures of the messy child in his “fort” of cushions.
Yesterday Desmond went into the bathroom and closed the door. Not a huge deal he is big on closing doors recently. I then hear the water running, again not a huge deal, he can climb up to turn on the water. I don’t like him playing in the sink though, or even in the bathroom. So I finish what I am doing and open the bathroom door to this:
Oh Hi Mommy, I’m not doing anything….
Nothing at all…
What do you mean I shouldn’t be in the sink? Isn’t it there for my enjoyment and pleasure?
On the plus side at least he was only wearing a diaper, so I didn’t have to pull wet clothes off him.
I have decided to start watermarking the pictures I put up on the blog. I have gone back and marked all of July and August’s pictures, I may be ambitious and get earlier months eventually, or I might just do it from this point forward, which is probably more likely.
That being said, if you know where to look I have not watermarked the full sized photos. If anyone I know needs info about where the full sized photos are (Mom), just let me know.
We put away the co-sleeper we had been keeping in the living room for Eloise on Monday. I think this video may show why we decided it wasn’t safe for her anymore. Desmond enjoyed playing with it just a bit too much!
8 years ago today, Dan and I were getting ready for our wedding. It was a very hot day in Richmond VA, ask any of the groomsmen who were in wool tuxes *grin*. It has been a great 8 years so far, it is kind of weird to think I’ve been married that long, and now we have 2 shorts ones as well. It was a great wedding though. Both of them were nice actually, even if everyone was afraid we were going to be burned by the fire in the Hindu ceremony. Happy 8 year anniversary to me and Dan may we have at least 52 years more!
And my favorite picture from my wedding of my brother, he will make a wonderful bride someday!
So Eloise loves to get up on her hands and knees and then push her self forward. She can move her hands and knees to go forward too, but she tends to get up and then throw her whole body forward to move. Anyways here are some pictures of her on her hands and knees.
A story with pictures. Back in April 2007 I had a baby boy, Desmond.
He was a very cute baby, and very quickly started to move.
And work on crawling
Shortly after that he was off and running working on cruising
Then he figured out how to stand on his own and walk
Shortly after that he started to run
And was soon quite happy, running and playing and exploring all on his own
So I had one mover, who loved to climb and explore and started moving very quickly. I decided to have another baby though and had Eloise in March 2009.
I figured there was no way she would move as fast as her brother right? She won’t start crawling at 4 months, Desmond crawling at 5 months was early enough, there was no way she would be up on her hands and knees moving at 4 months. Shows what I know.
And yes the story was just an excuse to use cute old pictures of Desmond!
