Okay last post for now, I have a ton more pictures to put up, but I will do that tomorrow or later tonight or something.

Anyways on Tuesday Eloise turned 4 months old! Where has the time gone? Seriously it doesn’t feel like it has already been 4 months. Anyways in honor of being 4 months old she decided she can tripod sit and I got some pictures of my little girl who is apparently growing way to fast, sitting up! So here they are for everyone to enjoy! Plus two extra pictures of Eloise and Dan’s hat.

I love her expression in these last two pictures. I think Desmond was over there and she was watching and talking to him.

Desmond helped me take this picture by putting his hand in front of the camera. Apparently I should have been taking pictures of him, not Eloise!

One of my natural parenting group play dates was held at Centennial park. Dan and I had no idea where this park was, but we found directions and since he was home that day we both went to the play date. The park is about 10 to 15 minutes away driving so it isn’t quite as convient as the park across the street, but we are really glad we found it, since Desmond loves the playground there.

There are no swings which is a bonus, since at the park across the street he likes to go and swing for the majority of the time, so not being able to swing means he burns off far more energy then swinging. It is also just a great play area. Anyways I have a couple of pictures of Desmond sliding and just hanging around at the playground on July 3rd.

These are pictures from July 2nd or so when we went to Gymboree open gym. I have a few of Desmond and a bunch of Eloise. In fact there are enough of them that I am going to split them into 2 posts. The pictures maybe a bit blurry since I took them on the smaller point and shoot camera and not on the good camera. Anyways here is Desmond playing and Eloise looking cute.

On the 5th we went to the wedding of a good family friend. Desmond and Eloise were invited as well and both of them had fun. My whole family was there as well, since the groom’s mother is my Mom’s best friend and we grew up with the groom and his sister. Both in Boston and in Atlanta. It was a lot of fun, even though I did miss most of the ceremony due to chasing a 2 year old who had no interest in sitting still to watch the ceremony. He had a lot of fun at the wedding though on the dance floor! Here are some pictures of Desmond with me, Dan, Nonnie and one of Eloise and Nonnie as well.

So on Father’s Day we went out to the pick your own farm. We were going to get blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. We got some cherries because the two short ones were asleep when we got there so I went out picking while they napped in the car with Dan. The strawberries were rather weak so we decided to skip them. The raspberry fields were still closed, but we got a bunch of blueberries. Desmond loves blueberries. Here are all the pictures of Desmond picking blueberries. We should be going back this weekend to get more blueberries and some raspberries as well.

I have a bunch of pictures to put up stretching from Father’s Day to yesterday. I also have a bunch of posts to make. We’ve been busy, went to a wedding on the 5th and then down to Atlanta for the week. We had a lot of fun at both. I’ve declared Desmond unpotty trained, he stopped showing any interest in going, so he is back in diapers for the moment. It is too bad since he was basically fully trained before he decided he was no longer interested.

Eloise is 4 months old and can sit, sort of for about a minute or two, it is more of a tripod sit, with her hands supporting her, then a full sit, but it is still cute. Desmond is talking a ton, he just decided he was ready to talk while we were in Atlanta so he started too. He still doesn’t always talk, but he says a lot more now then he was 2 weeks ago. Best line from him recently was at the lake house my Mom was making him eggs with cheese, and he looked at the eggs and said, “Not enough cheese!”.

So yesterday we did a bunch of things for father’s day, including blueberry picking, of which pictures I’ll get up when I get the camera out of the car. One of the many things we did though was get Eloise’s 3 month pictures done. We really wanted a nice picture of Desmond and Eloise together, we failed, we got an okay one, but Desmond wasn’t in a cooperative mood when it was time for pictures. Hopefully we’ll get a nice one eventually. Anyways here are Eloise’s 3 month pictures, she looks so big and non-newbornish now!

So we were watching the credits on one of Desmond’s dvds and a preview for Busy Town came up. I mentioned it was based on Richard Scarry’s work, and Dan goes who is Richard Scarry? I thought everyone knew Richard Scarry! Seriously I am amazed he missed reading any Richard Scarry books as a child. Scarry and Seuss are like the two children authors I remember best.
